Today’s #joinindaily theme from Johnny Wills is “Ducks; not mallards”.

Today’s #joinindaily theme from Johnny Wills is “Ducks; not mallards”. These are some type of diving duck, I don’t know what ones specifically though.
Unlike my previous post, I don’t believe they wear diapers.
I’m assuming this was taken near where you live in the Northwest. It’s also hard to see color, but they are likely Harlequin Ducks.

If they are all black/brown and white they might be immature buffleheads (or immature something else; teens are a motley lot).
