La Conner Sunset
Here is #TraderJoes response to @BenBonnema’s letter. It’s pathetic. Instead of addressing his concerns as an employee they signal out two of his recommendations for keeping employees safe as contrary to the value of the company and fire him. Trader Joe’s is trash. https://twitter.com/benbonnema/status/1365448606677876743
@TraderJoesUnion here's the letter they gave me

Stanford paper says to reduce zoom fatigue:
1. Reduce size of zoom window
2. Hide self view
3. Go audio only as needed
4. Minimize the window as needed so you don’t see others

“You moved to Washington? Ugh. Why?”
Have you had that response yet?
John Wehrle Well, I did have someone say, “oh, you live in Washington? No wonder you’re a libtard.” Does that count?
Washington state rocks. End of story. 🙂
what Paul Ferguson said. i’ve enjoyed my 9 months here so far… the weather is really spectacular and access to nature is on a par with colorado… now.. housing prices and the economy..that’s another matter entirely.
Kee Hinckley maybe that’s something you get inundated with if you are moving from Southern California to Western Washington.
annie bodnar I’m a renter and a solo, so I’ve got no dog in the fight as they say, but depending on where you are in the Sound area, you can find pretty good housing prices. I’ve done my share of shopping around just to keep abreast of real estate in this area, but around Tacoma and outlying areas, it’s pretty reasonable, I think.
annie bodnar As usual the rents are only reasonable where the jobs are not. I’m very lucky to be able to work remotely.
I notice the top of the tree has been dislocated to the left about a foot or so. Maybe the storm was stronger than I realized.
John Wehrle Hah! I missed that!
Paul Ferguson If I ever go back to live in the US, it’ll be to the Pacific NW. I feel so lucky to have grown up there (SW Washington).
